Hey all! We're still here!

I got some little clips of Joesy. The first one she's about 2 months and the horsey on she's closer to 3.

Because of the Lord's blessings we now have a baby room for Josilyn, brethren and family members gave us things and even though we have been a little tight Joesy's got all she could ever want. thanks for everything you guys. all that you have done has touched me and I know Josilyn appreciates it as well.

Josilyn loves her baths now, so I had to tape her playing in it one night. Babies in thier baths are so cute!

Sis Janni was taking a pic of tony's alligator lizard he found, but she didn't know she was taping it instead, and what made it even funnier was the background music you hear, is tony's cell phone going off. I was looking through my camera and discoverd this little video and I thought it was too funny! by the way, he let it loose in the garden and I just know it ate all my strawberries. So I named him godzilla.

Hey All! Its the Mayfields agian!

Yesterday all three of us went to a garden tour in Eugene. It was such a wonderful afternoon. there were seven different houses you can go to but this one with the 3 different waterfalls was my favorite. I wish I would have taken more pics so you could see just how pretty everything was. And some of the people houses were huge and gorgeous. and there was live instrumental bands like sting quartets and such at different gardens. Tony has been really into this stuff ever scince his landscaping job started. I love it.

The waterfalls ended at in this pond where all these pretty fish were.

Tony is standing next to one of his favorite plants in this pic. he was telling me about it when he came home from work one day but I had a hard time picturing it. It was pretty cool to see but I have to admit I get a better kick out of the ponds and flowers in the fancy gardens.

Here I am with her standing in front of the waterfalls. she slept on my sholder through most of the gardens. It was so precious feeling her little head on my shoulder.

she loves to stare at this before she falls asleep. Its this cute little jungle themed sleepytime music thing. I don't know the technical name for it. There is a little monkey and frog that swings back and forth to the music and a little fishy that blows bubbles. I think I know all the songs on it by heart now :)

She is still a little to young for this baby gym but a lot of times she gets distracted for a little while looking at everything in it. so mommy is able to get some things done during that distraction.

I saw Sis Heather making these for her little girls so when I couldn't find a decent sized and decently prices big blacket to cover her car seat or stroller when we were out, I made one. It was really easy and I'm very happy with it. I'll have to make more.

Well I tell you what, I've been busy. But I think I'm learning how to juggle things around. I have a whole new respect for all you moms out there with multipule children. I'm still trying to get the hang of just one. She is definatly worth all the sleepless nights though. Its only the first few weeks though, so hopfully I'll get used to the whole "nightshift" thing and colic. And boy can she spit up! there was this one time she was laying in her crib and milk came up and over the railing, it didn't even touch the crib. How did she do that?
She has some funny looks too. she sticks her lip out when she is about to cry and it just cracks me up everytime, and she moves her eye brows up and down when she eats.

In case anyone was wondering, this is what Josilyn has been up to during her first week of her life.

For Josilyn's first outing she went to Alivia's birthday party on Saterday. She was so good about waiting in her bouncy seat while her mommy struggled to get everything together to leave.

It was so cute to see how little Page reacted to Josilyn. Page got the biggest kick out of her.

Waiting to go to her first church meeting. At one point I had to leave the room with baby monitor in hand, and she hadn't made a sound, but when I got back her headband had fallin over her eyes and she was lookin around all confused. Poor thing, I just had to giggle at her. A normal baby would have starting crying or something to let her mom know something had gone askew.

After church she happily played with daddy a little while. Little did she know that her mommy was about to traumatize her with a "bath". She doesn't like them much right now.

Josilyn's favorite chair, at least she is putting the boppy to good use, seeing how mommy can't nurse her. I've been bottle feeding her. she doesn't seem to mind.

After a full day of praising God, playing with daddy, and getting a "not so desired" bath. She cuddled in her blankets for a Sunday nap.

Who knew I'd love someone this much at first sight. God has given me a wonderful little miracle and I can't praise Him enough for it.
